Jean-Louis Forain Gala at the Dixon Gallery and Gardens July 1, 2011

The Dixon Gallery and Gardens has been honored as the only American art gallery currently housing the work of Jean-Louis Forain. To celebrate this honor, the Dixon held a gala for which Mahaffey had the privilege of transforming one of their outdoor garden spaces for the event.

Dixon Gallery and Gardens Gala Part I June 27, 2011

The Dixon Gallery and Gardens recently became the only gallery in America to host the work of Jean-Louis Forain, a French impressionist. To celebrate that honor, the Dixon held the La Fête Forain Opening Gala.

Mahaffey contributed an 82′ wide clearspan structure for the outdoor East Memphis event. Here are a few pictures of the set-up.
