Memphis Airshow 2011

The Memphis Airshow was held at the Millington Regional Jetport this past weekend. Thousands of people came out to the event, making it a huge success. The airshow featured many different stunt planes, static aircraft displays, exhibits and rides. The highlight of the event was a show by the famous U.S. Navy Blue Angels. Mahaffey was a proud sponsor of the airshow this year and we provided a number of tents, tables and chairs for the event, including food tents, vendor tents, corporate chalets, first aid tents and flight-line seating for viewers to watch the show. Here are some great pictures we captured!

Memphis Airshow

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Get your tickets now for the Memphis Airshow, taking place Sept. 17-18 at the Millington Regional Airport. The airshow, which has been held five times since 1999, promises to be a fun-filled event, and Mahaffey is a proud sponsor this year! We’ll be providing a number of pole tents, tables and chairs for the event, including food tents, vendor tents, corporate chalets, first aid tents and flight-line seating for viewers to watch the show. The airshow will feature the famous U.S. Navy Blue Angels flying team as well as many other performers. The recession has kept the Blue Angels away for the past four years, so it’s a real treat for them to be back this year!

Aside from the performances, there will be static aircraft displays, exhibits, kid areas, rides, food and drinks. The show will provide the public an opportunity to learn about civilian and military aviation history and celebrate the Centennial of Naval Aviation 2011 and the 65th Anniversary of the Blue Angels. Proceeds from the Memphis Airshow will benefit three United Way agencies: Madonna Learning Center, Boy Scouts of America – Chickasaw Council and Memphis Oral School for the Deaf.
