Bonnaroo – Enchanting Events

We absolutely love this time of year, not only due to the warmer weather, but also because it’s festival season! Two huge festivals we love being a part of are New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. Although it is crazy busy at Mahaffey getting ready for these events, we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We have been providing the structures for Jazz Fest for the past 30 years, and it’s always an honor. After the inaugural festival in 1970, it was envisioned as an important event with both cultural significance and popular appeal. No other fest can quite compare to the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, ranked the Festival of the Year four times by Pollstar magazine and called “the country’s very best music festival’’ by Life magazine.

Bonnaroo, which takes place in Manchester, Tennessee, offers four full days of music, comedy, art, shopping and camping. Set up like a miniature city on over 700 acres, this festival is quite an adventure. For over five years, Mahaffey has been providing tents, clearspan structures and stage covers for this event. Well-known artists including as Jack Johnson, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Passion Pit, The Lumineers and Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors performed at this year’s festival.
