15^th Annual Polar Bear Plunge

In an effort to raise awareness for Special Olympics, hundreds of brave individuals will willingly plunge themselves into the icy Wolf River at the 15^th Annual Polar Bear Plunge! Mahaffey Tent & Party Rentals is proud to be sponsoring this year’s event, and for our own Angela Watson to take the plunge on behalf of Mahaffey! We invite you to join us in supporting Angela and other Plungers, as they take the leap to benefit Special Olympics Greater Memphis!

The ultimate goal of Special Olympics is to help children and adults with intellectual disabilities develop and demonstrate their skills and talents through sports training and competition.  In doing so, they are able to empower themselves and others, change attitudes, and build communities. With the help of FUNdraising events such as Polar Bear Plunge, Special Olympics Greater Memphis can provide them opportunities for physical development and an ability to share courage, skills, and friendship with their families, friends, and community. Mahaffey to the 47th CMA Awards

Days before Country Music’s Biggest Night, our Mahaffey crew was on the scene diligently working at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee! During that time, they successfully installed around 21,500 sq. feet of tent structures for the preshow and red carpet festivities.

The structures fitted for the 47^th CMA Awards included the Main Tent 66x150x13 (20M Clearspan), Paparazzi Tent 33x50x13, Fan Tent 40x66x13, Chevy Car Tent 40x40x10, Valet Tent, Venue Entry Tent, two Media Tents, and a variety of Walkway Tents. Mahaffey also provided red carpet, flooring, and liners for most of the tent structures.
